From 5 to 7 October 2026, the Ubuntu AfyaLink team exhibited at the 13th Tanzania Health Summit at Mlimani City Conference Center in Dar es Salaam. This year's theme was Building Health Sovereignty and Strengthening Health Systems in a Changing Global Order. At our booth in the Medical and Health Expo we showed AfyaSolar: solar energy and cold-chain protection for health facilities across Tanzania, with flexible financing and a digital platform for monitoring. We took Ubuntu AfyaLink to Innovation Week Tanzania 2026, held from 31 August to 4 September at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam. This year's theme was From Aspirations to Transformation: Innovating Tanzania's Path to Inclusive Prosperity. We exhibited Ubuntu AfyaLink at the 4th Mkapa Legacy Summit, held in July 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, as the Mkapa Foundation marked 20 years. The summit ran under the banner From Legacy to Future and included the Human Resource for Health Conference on 14 and 15 July. At our booth we showed how AfyaSolar helps primary healthcare workers deliver better, safer and uninterrupted care through reliable clean energy.
